So very proud to be selected in this years Pro Hart Art Awards- one of my major artistic goals. I had just the motivation this year with our unrivalled weather events up here in FNQ. The passion ran high...
“Ephemeral Ocean” In late March 2025,Queensland was affected by record flooding, with some regions receiving over a year's worth of rainfall in mere days. As Australia watched in helpless silence, the Diamantina, Corner & Channel countries were inundated with an ocean’s worth of water…an ephemeral sea. Much needed to draught stricken country, but then we watched and prayed for mercy as livestock suffered and perished, livelihoods and psyche challenged to the limit. We watched it “in it’s beauty and it’s terror” I am drawn to record the event in “my language”….. to convey the raw and fleeting beauty of a harsh land.

Central Highlands Regional Art Prize- Springsure
Thankyou Central Highlands for awarding "Ancient Footsteps" the grand aquisitive prize for Springsure Art Prize 2024. It's such an honor to know it will now reside in the region it was inspired by!
John Glover Finalist!
I'm still pinching myself...such a huge honour to be the only Qld finalist selected for the Glover Awards 2024! Thank you to the John Glover Art Society and the gorgeous village of Evandale in Tasmania for hosting such a prestigious event with such elegance and graciousness! The whole town was alive with excitement, welcoming all artists like rockstars! I was truly humbled that my entry "Divine Light" was snapped up in the first half hour, steadying my nerves and allowing me to enjoy the packed event.

It's On!!!
I've been working towards this for most of the year and ITS HERE!!! It's such an honor and privilege to have my solo exhibition "Treasure Hunting" at Tableland Regional Gallery up and running for a month! The official opening with morning tea and scones is this saturday 19th at 10.30am. Do call in and say hi!!!🙏🥰
